Sample Fees / Resubmittal Policy

At CanSource, we are committed to helping our customers get the most out of their packaging materials. Our goal is to ensure every custom can meets your expectations before it enters production.

New SKU Sampling Process

For every new SKU design submitted, CanSource will provide physical sample cans for approval prior to production.

1. Artwork Review

Upon receiving your artwork, our team will review the design to ensure it is compatible with our digital printing process and complies with our Pre-Press Instructions.

  • If any technical issues are identified, the prepress team will contact you via the manager artwork portal.

  • In most cases, designs that follow our Pre-Press Instructions will require little to no modification.

  • Occasionally, our design team may recommend minor enhancements to improve print quality or make certain design elements stand out. Any suggested changes will be communicated to you for approval before implementation.

2. Physical Sample Production

Once the artwork has passed review, CanSource will produce and ship two (2) physical sample cans for evaluation.

These samples allow you to:

  • Verify color accuracy and overall appearance

  • Review artwork placement and print quality

  • Experience the look and feel of the finished product

3. Artwork Approval

If the sample cans meet your expectations:

  1. Log in to your Manage Artwork portal.

  2. Review the submitted sample.

  3. Approve the artwork.

Once approval is received, your design is eligible for production orders.

4. Sample Revisions

If you are not satisfied with your sample can, notify us immediately through the Manage Artwork portal. Our team will review your concerns and work with you to determine the best path forward.

Minor revisions may include:
